Snorkeling and freediving safaris

We offer SNORKELING and FREEDIVING activities around Nyksund at the far end of Vesterålen. You will be taken out by RIB boat or explore the ocean directly from the shore. The activities are led by certified instructors and local guides/skippers with expert knowledge of the area’s waters.

You will experience Vesterålen's very special snorkeling and freediving spots in the Arctic waters with large kelp forests, unique beaches and rich life above and below the water.

We welcome families, groups of friends and individuals, both beginners and experienced. It's for those who want to experience something completely different. Our goal is to give you ocean experiences you will never forget.

Duration: 3.5 hours

The activity consists of three parts:

Part 1: Orientation, safety instructions, equipment overview and dressing 1 hour

Part 2: Boat trip out, 30 min

Part 3: Snorkeling and freediving in the sea, 1.5 hours

Part 4: Boat trip home 30 min
